Craggy Gardens Wedding | Asheville Wedding Photographer
I am an Asheville Wedding Photographer. I love the mountains and getting to shoot weddings like this Craggy Gardens Wedding is an honor.
As an Asheville Wedding Photographer, I’ve had the opportunity to visit lots of great places in the mountains- this Craggy Gardens Wedding is probably the highlight. This is the first hike we ever went on in this area and its the place we always take friends when they come to visit. For more on this lovely spot, check out this Craggy Gardens Proposal. Craggy Gardens Wedding
Now as for these Craggy Gardens Wedding Photos! Shayna and Tom planned to have a destination wedding in the Asheville area. Craggy Gardens is a personal, special spot for them. While they planned to have their actual wedding at Black Balsam Knob, they decided to have their wedding photos done ahead of time at Craggy Gardens.
They really had a smashing weekend planned for their guests filled with tubing and breweries. Their wedding planner, Plain with Sprinkles, is absolutely incredible and really did an amazing job coordinating everything. Unfortunately, a hurricane had to postpone these festivities. Though we were not affected by the hurricane outside of about a days worth of rain, many of their family members flights were cancelled due to predictions of Charlotte getting hit pretty hard.
Tom and Shayna were wonderful to work with. They absolutely glowed behind the camera. I’m so happy we had the opportunity to visit Craggy Gardens together and capture these portraits.
I’ve found that lots of people come to this part of the state for wedding photos because the mountains mean something to them. I totally relate. Having grown up in Florida, I never dreamed of getting to visit places like Craggy Gardens regularly. Its truly an honor to get to be in a place like this and to capture love of people like you who love each other and the mountains.
