As a maternity photographer in Asheville, NC, I work to create an experience that allows you to truly enjoy your day. This is done by providing a wardrobe for moms, babies, children and even dads. This is to help eliminate the stress of purchasing coordinating outfits for your session. I move quickly to get the shots needed in a short amount of time so that dads and kids don’t loose interest. Sessions are lighthearted and natural. Instead of creating perfect poses, I try to create memorable moments. This is done through prompts that help you get comfortable and laugh and be yourselves.

Maternity Sessions should be scheduled to be taken between 30-32 weeks of pregnancy. If you’re interested, contact me at the beginning of your second trimester to be sure to have your date available. Maternity sessions are also available as part of the Collective. This is a special membership designed for people wanting to document all the changes that happen in their child’s first year of life. It includes 3 or 4 sessions in an 18 month period, complimentary birth announcements (with the newborn session) and $100 off each order.

I schedule outdoor sessions for an hour before sunset. This is because the light is soft and beautiful at this time of day. When you reserve your date, I’ll let you know what time exactly we’ll meet at the field. This was a new location that I am really excited about. I can’t wait to schedule some fall family sessions here when the grass turns golden and the trees in the background will be full of color!
