On St Patricks Day 2018, a dear friend of mine got married at Highland Manor, a beautiful wedding venue just outside Orlando, FL.

Anyone who knows Michelle will know she is bubbly, joyful and loves people well. This wedding day was characterized by all those things (literally at some points) from the moment she arrived until they rode away. It was such an honor to capture the story of this day. If these photos convey even a tenth of the joy that was present, then I’ll feel successful.

Carlos and Michelle showed love and concern for their families, friends and vendors throughout the whole day. No hiccups could have occurred that would swipe the genuine smiles off of their faces. They kind of remind me of Jane and Bingley actually.. If I may say so. And I mean that as the highest compliment.

I loved how the small details of the wedding expressed who they were. They included Michelle’s dog Lola in the ceremony. She did an INCREDIBLE job. All the groomsmen had a different superhero shirt and socks that somehow related to their personality. (Most of them seemed to be engineers and drawn to the batman, iron man type characters) Michelle recently took up calligraphy and did all the writing on signs and hangers. They wrote their own vows. Which were so sweet and personal.

Carlos and Michelle, you are the sweetest couple. I’m so happy for you both and pleased to witness the beginning of a new, beautiful family. Thank you for trusting me with such an important role. I hope these photos help you remember this day for years to come. I hope that one day when you’re old and wrinkly, your grandkids look through your wedding album and talk about how beautiful you looked and how much you love each other still.
