Coley K Photography is a Black Mountain Maternity Photographer specializing in Newborn, Maternity and Family Photography. She has a studio in the heart of downtown Black Mountain and creates simple, classic, joyful portraits.

About this session:

This is a petite maternity session. Petite maternity sessions are 20 minutes long and include 10 digital photos. Clients are invited to view an online gallery of all the photos and select the 10 they want on their own. They are given the option to upgrade to all the photos if they wish.

Petite Sessions do not include use of the studio wardrobe. But clients are sent a style guide in preparation of their session and your Black Mountain Maternity Photographer is free to help discuss options. Raygan had bought this dress from Pink Blush specifically for her baby shower. But due to the coronavirus, she wasn’t able to have the baby shower as planned. I was so happy we got to take these beautiful portraits in it. I love the way the dress matched the wildflowers perfectly.

Preparing for a Maternity Session:

I recommend scheduling maternity sessions at about 30-32 weeks. This time is best because the bump is noticeable but you still feel fairly comfortable walking around. In addition, the further into the pregnancy photos are scheduled, the greater the risk of going into labor before the session! For more information see here!

• I offer both in-studio and outdoor photos for maternity sessions.
• Due to Covid-19, I am now offering both in-studio and outdoor options for newborn photos.
• There are 2 different “Baby Plan” Sessions that include maternity and newborn photos.
  • The first includes a petite maternity (or milestone if you’d prefer) and a full newborn session
  • The second includes 4 FULL sessions within the span of 18 months.
  • Both of these options include all printed images, an heirloom credit and birth announcements.
