Family sessions are filled with tickles and cuddles and screaming funny words at the top of our lungs and laughing. Thats what I love about them. I don’t think there’s any point in having photos taken if you aren’t going to enjoy the process itself. I know. That sounds crazy but hear me out.

Photos are meant to bring back memories. To remind you of those little white dots on your newborns nose, how your baby always walked with their hands up when they were learning to walk, how your 2 year old cackled loudly during ‘airplane’. Its about remembering these times and displaying them so you remember these times in gratitude and so that your children remember that they belong.

Now if you’re stressed out and not enjoying yourselves, that’s not a fun memory. If you feel awkward and self conscious, also not a great memory. These are the things you’ll be reminded of when you look back at your photos. This is why the experience you have is my priority.

Pre-session you’re sent a welcome box in the mail with some goodies and a full product guide. Then you’ll be able to select clothing for your family from our studio wardrobe, so you don’t have to worry about the stress of shopping with kids in tow, trying to coordinate outfits and making trips for the inevitable returns. Then when you arrive at the location, we play and laugh and we keep it under an hour because an hour is about all the kids and dads can take. After your photos are edited, we meet back up for your design and ordering appointment. Here you select your favorites for your heirloom album or fine art framed prints.
