There is a lot of terminology thrown around with photography between Mini Session, Lifestyle Session, Petite Session, Extended Family Session, etc. In this post I’m going to walk you through all of what I offer, what they each include, and what makes them different. This will hopefully give you a better idea of understanding what you’re looking for and if it is something I offer.

Signature Session

This is my main offering and what most clients are looking for and what they decide to book. The session fee for these sessions is $300.

What does it include?

These sessions include:

• Wardrobe and Pre-Session Planning
• Complimentary Hair and Makeup
• Full Session with Coley
• In Person Design and Ordering Appointment to finalize your Artwork

Digital Files are not included in Session Fee

What Does Full Session Mean?

A full session means the entire family is included and we aren’t worried about time constraints. For outdoor family sunset sessions, this means they typically take 45 minutes to an hour. These sessions can include a wardrobe change. For newborn, this means the whole family is included and these can take between 1-2 hours.

A full session usually includes about 45 unique images in the gallery. I don’t set particular time requirements on these sessions because my goal is to provide you with a full gallery and for some families, we can do that quickly and then others need more time. I work at your children’s pace.

Simplicity Session

This is something I offer for expectant moms and milestone sessions. These are short 15 minute sessions in the studio. The session fee for these are $150

How are they different?

They are not available for newborn or family sessions because it isn’t feasible to do a family or newborn session in that amount of time. Additionally I do not provide hair and makeup or wardrobe for these. However I will provide style boards for you to use as inspiration. These sessions are also only available on weekday mornings. I also limit these sessions to 1-3 people. The gallery size is much smaller around 10-15 images.

• 1-3 People can participate 
• Style board and wardrobe planning
• 15 minute in-studio session with Coley
• In Person Design and Ordering Appointment to finalize your Artwork

When to schedule a simplicity session

Simplicity sessions are perfect for “just baby” or “Mommy and me” sessions for milestones like 3 and 9 months. Women who are wanting just a few maternity photos without the full experience also often choose simplicity sessions for Maternity. Some family’s like to have a portrait session for each of their children on or around their birthday each year. These are great for mid-year sibling only sessions. These are also available for traditional heirloom portraits.

Story Collective

The Story Collective is my membership plan. This is perfect for busy mamas who want a whole season preserved. It includes multiple sessions throughout the first year. Clients wanting more than 2 sessions within a 15 month time span, should opt for the Story Collective. 3 signature sessions costs $600. 4 signature sessions costs $800.

What is included?

• Your Choice of 3 or 4 Signature Sessions within a 15 month period
• Priority Booking
• Initial Savings on Session Fees
• 25 Complimentary Birth Announcements (or holiday cards)
• $600 or $800 Album Credit ($200 applied at EACH ordering appointment)
